The Teacher and the Farmer

A native of San Diego, California and graduate from UC Davis,

Monica moved to Puerto Rico in 1994 as a teacher for the US

Dept of Defense. She married Milito, a local who administers

a grass sod farm. Both enjoy travel, raising show dogs

and spending time with the family.

Required to relocate to San Juan due to the closure of the Naval

Base, here in Ceiba, we have opened our home to visitors to enjoy

this true “Hidden Paradise”.

We own, show and occasionally breed golden retrievers.

Currently, we have 6 goldens and one mixed breed.

We also have 2 outside cats.

We usually take 2 of the goldens at a time with us to San Juan.

They have a very large fenced in area where they will stay.

See our kennel.  You are welcome to pet them…very friendly.

Usually they don’t bark unless a person or another dog walk past

the property. They are good watchdogs, so barking is always a possibility.

This has not been a problem in the past, but I want you to be aware that we have dogs.

Puerto Rico, officially the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is a self-governing

popularly known as "La Isla del Encanto", which translated means "The Island of Enchantment."
